134th Andrew Family Reunion
2021 Historian’s Report
August 7, 2021
The 134th Andrew Family Reunion had approximately 50 family members in attendance!
The meeting was called to order at 2:12pm. Each family gave introductions and there was a potluck lunch this year.
The family member who traveled the furthest was Cassandra Burnette fromOklahoma!
The oldest family member was Bobby Andrew at 87 years old.
The youngest family member was Kaiden Andrew Cronk at 1 year old.
The secretary’s report was accepted as read. The treasurer’s report stated we started the year $2,663.71. We had expenses of $17. We used the proceeds from the auction and t-shirt sales plus individual donations and then rounded up to $540 to donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We ended the year with $2,218.07. The treasurer's report was accepted as read. The historian’s report was accepted as read. There was no old business to discuss.
New Business:
An event committee was formed to organize the 125th reunion. The committee consists of Matthew Andrew, Hillary Federico, Dwayne Nelson, Kyle Andrew and Anthony DePoto.
A nominating committee was formed to organize a slate for the 135th elections. The committee consists of Hillary Federico and Eddie Andrew.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:39pm.

Abigail Jane Wood Yount died February 23,2021. Her husband, Jay Yount died in November 2020. Our mother was Jane Andrew
From John Andrew Meyer:
I am the great grandson of Charlotte Merwin Andrew of Milford and the great, great grandson of Harry Andrew from New Haven, CT. My wife, Laura, and I welcomed our third child in 2020. Our daughter, Naomi Ann Meyer, was born in June. She joins her brothers Andrew and Josh Meyer. We live in Chadds Ford, PA (302-540-5587)
From Siga Andrew:
Rob continues to work in insurance, Siga continues as a physical therapist/personal trainer. They are pretty much empty nesters and married for 32 years this August. Sidney, the oldest daughter lives an hour north of mom and dad, working full time as an accountant and racing her road bike. Sofija finished her junior year at CU, Bolder, looking to graduate next May with a Degree in Environmental Design and 2 minors, one in Spanish and the other in Technology/Arts/Media
From the Isbell Family:
David Isbell’s daughter Sarah Abigail was awarded her Doctorate degree in Soil Sciences from Penn State University in September 2021. She is 33 years old. David’s son, Jacob David, was awarded his Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland in March, 2021. He is 30 years old. Aaron Kendirck (Formerly Jean Isbell) was his partner Lisa are settled in the Pittsburgh, PA area. They are enjoying their retirement and spending time with their two granddaughters, Ava who is 9 ½ and Veta who will be 5 in mid-August. They hope to get back for reunion sometime in the next few years
Additional News:
Matthew Andrew and Hillary Federico purchase their first home in Westerly, RI on January 11, 2021.
Kyle Andrew and Skye (Stella) Andrew got married on September 6, 2020. They purchased a home and moved to Beacon Falls, CT on March 18, 2021.
Corey Andrew was offered a job at the Naugatuck Fire Department on August 2, 2021.
On October 15, 2020 Barbara Andrew passed away. She was married to the late Edwin Andrew and has two sons, Eddie and John.
On February 11, 2021 Richard “Dick” Pierce passed away with his family by his side. He leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Margorie (Andrew) Pierce and her son, Dwayne Nelson. He also leaves his children Cheryl Pierce of Endfield, Richard V. Pierce Jr. of Endfield, and Joseph Pierce of Hartford.
