133rd Andrew Family Reunion
2020 Historian’s Report
August 1,2020
The 133rd annual Andrew Family reunion had approximately 30 people in attendance!
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic many family members chose not to attend. In order to lower the chances of spreading the virus, there was no potluck dinner, families brought food for themselves. Also many family members did their best to wear face masks and keep 6 ft apart for social distancing. There was no Andrew Family Classic this year. Introductions were given by each family, which was streamed by Laurie Andrew to the family Facebook page. The meeting was called to order at 2:11pm. The treasurer’s report was given and accepted.
The oldest family member in attendance was Bobby Andrew and the youngest was Lucy DePoto. The furthest traveled was Bobby and Sam Andrew from Cleveland, Ohio. A moment of silence was had for the family members who passed away this year. The secretary’s and historian’s reports were both accepted and the meeting was adjourned at 2:32.
New Business:
A motion to donate $500 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Justina’s name was passed
A motion to donate the proceeds of family t-shirt sales to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was passed.
Family News
Eleanor Ann Andrew (b 12/6/1938) wife of Bobby Andrew passed away on July 1, 2020.
Justina Marie Noble (b. 12/6/1985) daughter of Liz and Rick Noble passed away on October 8, 2019, after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
Forrest Andrew, grandson of Bobby Andrew married Rachel Halowicki on January 4, 2020.
Carly Andrew, daughter of Russell and Laurie Andrew, graduated from Nonnewaug High School in June of 2020 and will be attending Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY at the end of August.
Deborah Jasselyn married/remarried William (Bill) MacArthur on August 3, 2019.
Kaiden Andrew Cronk was born on July 1, 2020. Parents are Becky Ezzo and Benjamin Cronk. Grandparents are Jennifer Andrew ezzo and Rick Staaf. Great Grandparents are Scott and Marilyn Andrew.
